Rosendo Diaz

 

Rosendo Diaz received his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in August of 2003, after having trained with David Adiv and Royler Gracie for over 10 years. In August of 2006, he received his 1st degree from Royler Gracie and in February of 2013 and June of 2017 he received his 2nd and 3rd degrees by Phil Migliarese.  Rosendo has an extensive training background in the Martial Arts with over 25 years experience. He was the defensive tactics instructor for the Montgomery Co. Sheriff’s Dept. during the late 90’s. He also travels throughout the country and abroad teaching the 3rd Generation Jiu-Jitsu Team curriculum.  Rosendo is recognized by the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) as 2nd degree black belt.

 

 

 

Chris Kwortnik, Black Belt

 

Chris was promoted to black by Rosendo Diaz on March 19. Chris is an accomplished wrestler who was a 3 time Pa State Champion at North Penn High School and a 3 time Division I All American at NC State. He has over 35 years of grappling experience. Chris is also one of the head instructors at 3rd Generation.

Matt Coletta, Brown Belt

 

Matt has been training in Jiu-Jitsu for over 7 years. As a life long martial artist, he brings an abundant amount of experience to our academy. Matt’s teaching style encompasses all the positions of Jiu-Jitsu which translates into his students having a extremely well rounded game.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dan Katz, Purple Belt

Danny  has been training since 2010. He has competed and placed at NAGA, Good Fight, Newbreed, UGC, both at his weight brackets and higher weight brackets.  He is a practicing attorney with a strong understanding of legal concepts related to self defense. Danny teaches our fundamentals class on Mondays @ 7pm.
